Sales Account Executive

Sprious is seeking an empathetic, self-motivated, highly-flexible, and driven Account Executive to take our organization to the next level. We have just started down a focused effort on direct sales across the company and are looking for someone experienced to help our sales organization meet its goals.  The ideal candidate is able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment, has a strong understanding of organizational design, and sales processes.

Responsibilities

As Sales Department lead:

  • Accountable for overall budget, personnel, and performance of the organization
  • Define budget needs and execute to the plan
  • Develop training strategies and approaches for the sales team
  • Establish process for in- and out-bound sales efforts across multiple product lines
  • Build a successful sales team by identifying and hiring the right talent in the right positions
  • Set goals, measure effectiveness, and constantly improve the sales machine
  • Identify best practices for our CRM and sales toolbelt
  • Closely work with the Marketing and Sales teams to build a funnel and processes
  • Closely work with Customer Success to define hand-off procedures to ensure continuity with customers
  • Regularly review and make recommendations to modify the comp model for all sales positions
  • Own the Confluence space for knowledge management

 

As Scraping Robot Account Exec:

  • Define outbound strategy for gaining leads
  • Work hand-in-hand with the SDR team to find and transition the right kinds of leads
  • Gain a deep understanding of the web scraping industry and how to gain new clients
  • Develop an approach for winning both custom and recurring work
  • Strategize on approaches for emails and cold calling, with regular monitoring and enhancements to the process
  • Study the pain points and opportunities in the market, including the latest trends

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience managing sales teams or leading a sales organization
  • Proven track record of closing deals
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the sales field
  • Strong understanding of technology, with heavy preference toward SaaS
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with experience in sales and negotiation
  • Experience with a Customer Relationship Management tools such as Hubspot or SalesForce

  • Level 5 Diploma in Sales and Account Management (ISMM)
  • Level 6 Executive Diploma in Strategic Sales and Account Management (ISMM)
  • Advanced Certificate in Sales Management (CIM)
  • Intensive Diploma in Strategic Sales Practice (CIM)

 

This is not a remote position – we are seeking a candidate that is able to work in the Lincoln, NE office for this role. However, we are temporarily allowing our employees to work from home during the ongoing pandemic.
