A Tri’s family trip to Hoi An – Vietnam

Last week, my family had a wonderful trip to Hoi An, Vietnam. It is an ancient town with mossy tiled roofs, winding alleys and magical lanterns. This trip has left me with unforgettable memories.

Moving from Da Nang to Hoi An by car

From Da Nang, we traveled to Hoi An by car, which took about 45 minutes. Along the way, we admired the beautiful natural scenery of the Vietnamese countryside. The green rice fields, the shady village roads and the simple tiled houses created a peaceful and poetic rural picture.

Staying at a Villa with a swimming pool

We booked a room at a villa with a swimming pool located right in the center of Hoi An Old Town. The villa is designed in a traditional style with curved tiled roofs, golden walls and rustic wooden furniture. The villa has a large, blue swimming pool, which is the perfect place for us to relax after a long day of sightseeing. That night, my family, some friends and I had a BBQ party, enjoyed delicious local food and shared interesting stories in a happy atmosphere.

Walking around Hoi An Old Town

Hoi An Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is famous for its ancient houses, winding streets and colorful lanterns. We spent the whole day walking around the old town, visiting ancient houses, shopping for souvenirs and enjoying delicious food.

Eating with family and friends

Hoi An has a rich and diverse culinary culture. We had the opportunity to enjoy many delicious local dishes such as Cao Lau, Quang Noodles, Hoi An Chicken Rice, Phuong Bread, etc. We also had happy meals with family and friends at restaurants by the poetic Hoai River.

Thanh Ha Pottery Village is a famous traditional craft village of Hoi An. It has a long history of pottery making and has created sophisticated and beautiful ceramic products. We had the opportunity to visit the pottery village, learn about the pottery making process and make our own pottery products.

The end of the trip

The trip to Hoi An was short but left me with unforgettable memories. We had fun moments with family and friends, explored the traditional cultural features of Hoi An and enjoyed the delicious local food. This will definitely be a trip I will never forget.
